Before entering the real estate field, Barbara spent 12 years working in New York City's garment center for various dress & clothing manufacturers. Her time spent there has provided her with a strong & skilled marketing background.

A 5th generation Montclair native, Barbara is now a resident of Halcyon Park in Bloomfield. She has an incredible knowledge of local folklore & history and is able to advise clients on the real estate market throughout the region. 

A strong belief in community involvement has made Barbara a tireless volunteer for organizations including St. John's Food Kitchen in Newark & the Yogi Berra Museum in Little Falls. Recently the Nicholas Team spear-headed a collection campaign of used DVDs, CDs & VHS cassettes for the US troops serving in Iraq and helped to sponsor Montclair’s National night out, the Ambulance Units annual Golf outing and currently sponsor ‘s the Halcyon Park’s Neighborhood Association’s Newsletter. She is a strong supporter of the both the Immaculate Conception High School’s BLUE LION CLUB (and currently serves as the groups Secretary) & Alumni Association located in Montclair; as well as the Eddie Mal Association (a local group helping cancer patients without health insurance). She has also lent a helping hand to such events & organizations as the 2000 Guinness Oyster Fest in Montclair to help raise money for the Carol Baldwin Breast Cancer Foundation.
